Seasons over! Last home game for 2010. My bro and I have been talking for years about meeting up for a Lakers game but it’s been a logistical nightmare getting him down here from Fresno, till tonight when the stars aligned.

NBA is starting to “get” this web thing
I went to check out the Lakers website at half-time and I did a mini double-take when instead of the usual home-page instead I got a giant current scoreboard / play-by-play screen. It’s called the NBA TV Companion and first debuted last month.

I’ll be honest; this is nothing more than an excuse to flash some serious bling. Glad to get that out of the way. Hey, a guy’s gotta rep his team, right? Besides, look at it. 14 diamonds for the 14 previous championships, 15-karat gold(???) to symbolize the 15th.
Honda reinvents the bike that invented them
There’s definitely a stigma to motorcycle riders being bad boys, but in the 50′s, those were pretty much the ONLY people who rode bikes. Motorbikes were looked down on by the average joe, and Hollywood only reinforced the stereotype with classics like The Wild One and Easy Rider.
Back from Adobe MAX 2009
Got to go to AdobeMAX again this year. Took some arm-twisting by some co-workers to get the expense approved, but it probably helped that it was here in L.A. this year. As expected, it was a total nerd-fest, and as expected I loved every minute of it.
Now with 50% more iPhone goodness!
After spending the last few days working on making another site experience more iphone-friendly, I figured why not my own? I started by scrapping my old ghetto Wordpress theme in favor of something from scratch and a lot more minimal.
